Chevrolet Performance LT4 6.2L supercharged wet sump crate engines are engineered for supremacy. These powerhouses are the heart of the Corvette Z06 and feature 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS superchargers spinning up to 20,000 rpm--enough to generate more than 9 lbs. of boost, along with big horsepower and torque. These LT4 long blocks have several unique features designed to support their higher output and the greater cylinder pressures created by forced induction. Chevrolet Performance LSX-SC cylinder heads are developed for big-boost levels and high-horsepower engines. Undergoing a Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), this process is a way of casting that removes the air pockets while improving the mechanical properties of the components. LSX-SC cylinder heads are the same ones you'll see on Chevrolet's COPO 350 engine. They're available in three different configurations: as-cast; bare with CNC-machined features; or fully assembled CNC-machined cylinder heads complete with valves and springs.
