BluePrint Engines Timing Pointers

BluePrint Engines offers timing pointers for a variety of applications, including select Ford small block V8 engines from 1968 and up. These tools are used to set or check the timing of an engine's ignition system. They attach to the engine block and point to timing marks on the harmonic balancer. The pointer can be moved to match up with the measured TDC (top dead center).

After building Windsor style engines for over 40 years, BluePrint Engines understands all the nuances that go into matching forward and reverse water pumps on Ford based engines. By adding material in the correct places, and incorporating features from standard rotation, as well as the later reverse rotation engine, these one-piece aluminum timing covers will accept both standard and reverse rotation waters pumps and retain a fuel pump mounting boss for carbureted engines.
