Choosing an electric radiator fan is a matter of matching the right-sized cooling fan and radiator combo for your engine. Engines need heat to operate efficiently, but require effective cooling—especially in performance applications—to eliminate as much power-robbing heat as possible. It’s a balance, and to achieve the perfect balance for your cooling system, your electric radiator fan must work effectively with your radiator, in addition to achieving appropriate water pump speed and coolant flow for your engine. If you’re looking for that perfect engine cooling fan, you’re in the right place. Summit Racing carries a huge selection of electric radiator fans to complete your cooling system upgrade.
Electric radiator fans are available in both pusher and puller designs. Pusher-style fans mount on the front of the radiator and blow air through the radiator core. Puller-style fans mount behind the radiator and draw air through the core.
Puller-style fans are recommended for applications in which the electric fan is the primary cooling source. A pusher-style fan can be used as an auxiliary cooling source, but you should sure make the fan covers as much of the radiator core as possible.

Proform's brushless motor electric cooling fans deliver more cfm than the competition for maximum cooling. These brushless fans are lightweight, low-profile, no amp spikes, and create cooling unlike anything out there. The best part is, they are totally universal and designed for 12-volt systems. No fancy engine specific controller required, just wire up the (+) and (-), and you're good to go. Soft start ramp up prevents amp spikes. The brushless electric fans are designed to fit the most popular cars and trucks. Order the electric fan model designed for your application needs. Product features and benefits: * Prevents overheating in stop-and-go traffic * Designed to fit the most popular cars and trucks * Frees the water pump pulley for more rpm * Thin design to fit cramped locations * Reinforced glass filled polypropylene blade and plastic housing for minimized weight * Nylon tie mounting kit included * Installs in minutes with simple hand tools Note: This is strictly a puller fan and is not reversible.
