Banks Power Oil Cooler Upgrade Kits
Banks Power oil cooler upgrade kits improve heat reduction and performance of your Duramax engine. At the heart of each kit is GM's 2020 Duramax L5P oil cooler, rejecting heat better at the factory-rated 450 hp when tested against the earlier units, a difference that becomes even more apparent at higher engine speed and load--the higher the horsepower, the greater the improvement. Additional cooling plates and improved oil flow increase the available surface area utilized for heat transfer, shedding more BTUs of heat while maintaining proper oil pressure. Hardware, gaskets, and an AMSOIL EAO17 oil filter are included, as well as a pre-installed 1/8 in. NPT port for oil temperature/pressure sensors.
