The design of these special crossover tubes allows for adjustable length—and for use as a coolant inlet or outlet on your engine. Earl's leads the way for LS engines! OE water pumps come with push-on barbs for clamping the standard radiator hoses. Push-on hose connections just don't meet the demands of extreme performance. Earl's LS water pump adapter kits convert both the inlet and outlet to -20 AN fittings. The kits work with all LS water pumps; an O-ring adapter plate is included that upgrades early LS water pumps to the later, less restrictive style of thermostat. Water necks help to hold the vehicle's thermostat in place as it opens and closes—to regulate the flow of coolant through your engine. Racing Automotive Group water outlet restrictor kits allow you to limit the coolant flow leaving the engine in order to control the amount of heat absorbed by the coolant itself. Limit the flow with these three round aluminum plates with 5/8 in., 3/4 in., and 1 in. I.D. holes. Just mount the appropriate plate under the water outlet on the intake manifold for a simple temperature control solution. Restrictor kits are available for a wide range of year/make and engine applications from the 1950s and up.
