Higher cooling system pressure raises the boiling point of coolant to reduce the risk of overheating—especially in racing applications. Recovery system caps allow coolant to exit the cooling system into an overflow or recovery bottle as the coolant heats and expands. As the system cools, recovery system caps will draw coolant back in to keep the cooling system full. Allstar steel or billet aluminum caps are available in different shapes, styles, and psi limits. Choose the model best suited for your radiator.

Radiator caps from Motorcraft are crafted from heavy-duty zinc plated steel and high-quality plastic, both resistant to rust and corrosion. Stainless steel pressure valve springs maintain the calibrated pressure for a maximum service life. These Motorcraft radiator caps include a rubber pressure valve gasket, and are able to withstand high temperatures and deterioration caused by coolant chemicals. Any accidental cap removal can be prevented with the "positive low-pressure" feature.
