Canton Racing Coolant Expansion Fill Tanks

Canton Racing coolant expansion fill tanks are built with .100 in. thick aluminum. They have billet aluminum necks with a barbed overflow fitting and accept standard radiator caps. Expansion tanks provide an air space for the coolant to expand into and are required in all applications where the top of the radiator is lower than the top of the engine. These Canton Racing coolant expansion fill tanks should be mounted higher than the engine and radiator to ensure that the engine and radiator are completely filled. The tank itself should only be partially filled to allow for expansion. They have built-in mounting brackets, and an overflow hose can be connected to the filler neck barbed fitting.

Meziere Expansion Tanks

Meziere expansion tanks have two main functions. They can be used as a fill point when the top of your radiator is lower than the engines water outlet, or to deal with the expanding volume of water when a recovery system is not utilized. The bottom of the tank is plumbed to the low pressure side of the cooling system, the smaller fitting on the upper portion of the tank is plumbed to the high points on the engine and radiator to remove trapped air and aerated water. The expansion tanks can be located high and out of the main flow of water, which allows air to be purged from the system, making the entire cooling system more efficient.

JR Race Car Catch Cans

The worst thing you can do to that finely tuned machine is let contaminants and oil into your intake or crankcase. JR Race Car catch cans also keep that crud from building up around the intake by filtering it out before it gets there, preserving your vital components and helping to extend engine life. Keep your vehicle in top form with JR Race Car catch cans.
