Banks Power Oil Cooler Upgrade Kits
Banks Power oil cooler upgrade kits improve heat reduction and performance of your Duramax engine. At the heart of each kit is GM's 2020 Duramax L5P oil cooler, rejecting heat better at the factory-rated 450 hp when tested against the earlier units, a difference that becomes even more apparent at higher engine speed and load--the higher the horsepower, the greater the improvement. Additional cooling plates and improved oil flow increase the available surface area utilized for heat transfer, shedding more BTUs of heat while maintaining proper oil pressure. Pacific Performance Engineering Transmission Fluid Bypass Valves

The OEM part has restrictive internal passages; and when the OEM valve fails in the open position, transmission fluid doesn't reach your cooler. This can be caused by mechanical failure or debris. The result of stock valve failure can cause the transmission to dangerously overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, the demands of towing and rigorous stop-and-go driving conditions shorten the life of transmission components. This PPE bypass valve eliminates the mechanical valve—which maximizes fluid flow from the transmission cooler. For further protection, a Neodymium magnet-equipped service plug has been added. The removable plug traps ferrous debris and can be accessed to remove particles from the system. The factory part does not have this feature. PSC EHPS Boost Kits
PSC's EHPS boost kits combine their cooler kit for electro-hydraulic power steering-equipped vehicles with their Apex boost kit. Together they eliminate steering issues with regard to power. A vehicle lifted with larger tires and higher offset wheels greatly increases the drag on the hydraulic power steering. Stock system pressures are set low to prevent overheating, but with aftermarket performance parts and harder use, stock pressures and lack of cooling becomes a problem. PSC Apex boost kits allow for a retune of the factory blow-off valve, allowing for an increase of steering power by 40 percent.
