They combine two coolers in one space-saving, all-aluminum package with a proven fin-and-tube design. They have 1 1/2 in thick cores and 5/8 in. cooling tubes with Perma-Cool's special Turbulator fins to boost cooling efficiency. One of their two circuits can be used for transmission fluid or engine oil, while the other one can be used for engine oil, power-steering fluid, differential fluid, or even fuel. To make them even more effective, some models incorporate integral fans that can move up to 1250 cfm or more of cooling air. This allows you to mount these coolers pretty much wherever you want, including out of the direct airstream, and also can give you cooling protection when the vehicle isn't moving.
