UMI Performance transmission mounted torque arms eliminate unwanted traction problems and transfer your power to the wheels. UMI Performance transmission mounted torque arms bolt on directly in place of the factory unit using existing mounting holes and require no drilling or welding. These torque arms are designed to eliminate wheel hop under hard acceleration and reduce 60 ft. times instantly. UMI Performance transmission mounted torque arms are supplied with a low-deflection front bushing designed to replace the stock rubber bushing and bolt in the existing clamshell. The rear torque arm mount is constructed entirely of 0.375 in. thick, CNC-machined mild steel and is fully MIG-welded. These torque arms feature on-car adjustability for easy pinion angle adjustments using a 4140 heat-treated adjuster and 3/4 in. rod ends. Additional features include: * Constructed from 1.250 in. x 0.120 in. BMR Suspension torque box reinforcement plate kits offer strength and performance benefits for your Fox-chassis Mustang—which are not known for being strong. These kits will increase stiffness, reinforce the factory torque box, reduce control arm mount deflection, and deliver the ability for added horsepower and torque to be applied safely to your Fox chassis. The reinforcement braces for the upper and lower rear control arm mounts (torque boxes) are made from CNC laser-cut, CNC-formed, and MIG-welded steel plate. The plates bolt in using supplied hardware and require very little fabrication to complete. BMR kits are available for lower or upper only, or together. General Motors' tailshaft mounted design works great for a stock-driven vehicle; however, it is not designed to take abuse and hard launches. UMI Performance torque arm relocation kits replace your transmission crossmember with a new, stronger setup with a built-in torque arm mount. Each relocation kit is designed to fit a specific transmission and will work with virtually any stock-style aftermarket torque arm, as well as with the factory torque arm. These units are built using rectangular mild steel tubing and 0.188 in. mild steel mounting plates and they include all hardware needed for installation. The torque arm mount is machined from 0.250 in. thick mild steel and features a new clamshell for appropriately attaching the torque arm to the new crossmember.

Competition Engineering has developed these engine-limiting torque link kits for enthusiasts who want the benefits of a solid motor mount for racing, and the comfortable ride of a stock motor for street use. It all begins with the installation of two supplied zinc-plated brackets. One goes on the front of the driver side cylinder head, and the other on the sway bar mount on the frame.
