Hooker LS Engine Swap Transmission Crossmembers
Hooker LS engine swap transmission crossmembers are built to mount the transmission in place when switching to an LS engine. They are designed using CAD modeling/FEA analysis for optimal fitment, strength, weight, safety, and appearance. The crossmembers are manufactured from high-strength, low-alloy steel and then black powdercoated for maximum durability. They provide an engineered 3 to 3.5 degree engine/transmission inclination angle that is critical to obtaining suitable U-joint working angles. Swapping an LS engine into a classic GM A-body is nothing new. UMI Performance LSX engine mounts allow the installation of an LS engine directly into your A-body.
