Flaming River Microsteer electric power assisted steering kits can easily be fitted to virtually any vehicle where manual steering currently exists. There's no need to change your steering rack or fit a hydraulic system. These kits allow you to adjust the amount of assistance by using a rotary potentiometer—or you can make the system speed sensitive by connecting a wheel speed signal to the tuning box. A mode selection switch on the box allows you to choose your preferred method—manual or wheel speed. Available in durable steel or lightweight aluminum, these fenderwells or wheel tubs come in multiple sizes to fit the largest of tires with plenty of clearance. They are formed with bead rolls for strength and a "hammer over edge" or "Pittsburgh seam" where the sides join the tub. Fenderwells come unassembled and ship flat. Once trimmed they are easily put together with a hammer and dolly by folding the edge over.

These Flaming River splined steering shafts are manufactured in your choice of steel alloy or stainless steel for strength and cosmetics. Steel alloy versions are available in natural or nickel plated finishes, while the stainlees steel versions are natural finish only. The shafts are manufactured in 2 in. increments, from 4 in. up to 36 in. The splines are 2 in. long on both ends, giving you room to trim them down if necessary.

The Borgeson conversion box is a modern integral power steering gearbox that provides true modern power steering feel, feedback and a sporty 14:1 ratio. Borgeson has manufactured the power steering conversion box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and includes a pitman arm to fit the stock steering linkage without any interference or modification of the frame.
