A 21st-century upgrade of your Tri-Five's braking and handling begins with Wilwood ProSpindles. These precision engineered, cast steel 2 in. drop spindles make installing Wilwood brakes easy. They are lighter and stronger than factory cast iron, while lowering your car's center of gravity for less body roll, a better look, and improved handling and braking, without affecting suspension travel or geometry. Wilwood ProSpindles are designed to provide a reinforced attachment for a variety of Wilwood disc brake kits, and they install using OE ball joints and steering arms, with original or aftermarket control arms.

They're manufactured from 1.250 in., 0.120 in. thick wall DOM tubing, with pivot barrels made from 1.500 in., 0.188 in. thick wall DOM tubing to help eliminate distortion. These control arms use bushings made from self-lubricating, non-squeak patented material that will outlast any rubber or polyurethane bushing. Danchuk tie rod adjustment sleeves are a necessity when rebuilding your Tri-Five steering. They're designed to replace the adjustment sleeves on manual steering cars (and the passenger side of power steering cars), so you can use them on both sides of factory power steering cars if you replace the outer tie rod and inner tie rod, as well on the driver side. Factory power steering cars used a different length inner tie rod and a shorter sleeve on the driver side.
