QA1 1988-98 C1500 level 3 front coilover conversion systems are a great upgrade to your C1500 front suspension. Each kit comes with QA1's proven double-adjustable Pro Coil coilover shocks—so you can change the valving to meet your specific needs—along with a variety of spring rate options. The shocks allow for wider wheel and tire combos, ride height adjustability, and are 100 percent dyno-tested and serialized. The QA1 C1500 upper and lower control arms are manufactured from 12-gauge HSLA steel tubing for increased strength and are powdercoated for long-lasting durability. The bolt-in upper control arm mount provides enhanced suspension geometry, which reduces anti-dive and ties in the upper shock mount. The kit will provide a total of 6 in. of drop when used with drop spindles, or 4 in. of drop with factory spindles. Performance ball joints and low-friction, maintenance-free bushings are standard. QA1 MOD Series Pro Coilover Systems
Don't be limited to adjustments! Completely re-valve in minutes with the QA1 MOD Series Pro coilover systems. Designed specifically to meet the demands required by today's high performance drag race and handling/pro-touring cars, QA1's multi-patent-pending MOD Series shocks will transform the way racers respond to changing track conditions and configurations. The key element to this tunability is QuickTune Technology: dry modular valve packs that can easily be swapped out, all while the shocks remain on the car. An industry first, MOD Series shocks can easily be re-valved without interrupting the oil path or opening up the shock for debris and air contamination. Medium compression and rebound valve packs come standard; soft or firm compression and rebound valve packs are also available. Once the desired valving is in place, the unique double-adjustable design (with adjustable low-speed bleed) allows for fully independent control over the compression and rebound characteristics. With all these adjustability options, MOD Series shocks achieve an expansive force curve capability and an unprecedented level of tunability. Tremendous front grip and a host of features can be yours with UMI Performance Competition front-end kits. The included A-arm kit enables 10 degrees caster while maintaining standard track width and wheelbase. Lower A-arms are assembled with tall lower ball joints to optimize roll center, camber gain, and center of gravity. Lower A-arms feature Delrin bushings for smooth travel and bind-free performance. The new lower A-arm works in conjunction with the included adjustable upper arm—which features minimum shim adjustability, Pro Forged ball joints, and super-smooth PTFE lined rod ends. The front sway bar attaches using UMI's swivel-style end link design and double shear mounting system. The included Viking Crusader coilover shocks mount to the lower A-arm in double shear quick-change brackets. The lower shock mount is removable to allow spring and shock changes at the track. RideTech 1979-93 Mustang SLA Front Suspension Systems
RideTech 1979-93 Mustang bolt-in SLA (Short-Long-Arm) front suspension systems replace the stock McPherson strut design with a billet aluminum upper control arm, tubular lower arm and spindles with S550 Mustang hubs. The factory strut design offers very little camber gain and poor overall geometry. This design greatly improves negative camber gain, which positions the tire perpendicular to the pavement through the corners without the need for excessive static camber and overly stiff spring rates. Caster, roll center and Ackerman angles were also optimized. These suspension systems are compatible with either Ridetech coilovers or Shockwave air suspension (sold separately).
