Faulty suspension operation? The problem could lie in your shock mounts, causing the shock absorbers to malfunction. If that's the case, make an upgrade with Detroit Speed's mini-tub lower shock plates! These plates come in an electroplate finish and work great when mini-tubbing the rear of your vehicle for larger rear tires. Because mini-tub plates do not have the same bolt pattern as stock sprint plates found on most axle housings, they can be used with Detroit Speed's adjustable leaf spring pads and U-bolts (sold separately). These mini-tub lower shock plates are available in either staggered inboard, staggered outboard, or for shocks on the same side of the rear axle.

Mount your lower control arms using heavy-duty replacement brackets from Artec Industries. They're made from 1/4 in. in. thick steel plate for strength and have grease fitting access on top to allow easy maintenance of your joint. The brackets have a 2.625 in. mounting width with 9/16 in. bolt hole for common sized style cartridge joints. The skid plate on the bottom of each bracket wraps around the joint, protecting it from direct impact and decreasing premature wear; this skid plate design does not restrict movement of the joint. Tapered sides allow the Artec lower control arm brackets to be mounted at an angle on the frame without excess material hanging off the side. Choose the style needed to mount front or rear control arms on your specific vehicle.

Pedders lowering springs supply the ride height you want for the performance application and look that you desire. Being the foundation of your suspension system, Pedders coil springs are sent through a series of procedures critical in delivering consistent height, weight, and durability. The springs are hot-coiled, oil-quenched, and furnace-tempered. Then shot-peened with full hardened steel shot and fully scragged to effectively pre-set the spring and determine the finished height. Before they are powdercoated, all springs are load height and rate tested to a 2mm tolerance. Their attention to detail offers the lowering spring performance you expect; absorb the shock with Pedders drop springs.
