In true Trail-Gear style, the Rock Assault kits are engineered to be the strongest on the market, so they're designed with a piston wear band and a rod bushing. This bushing allows the rod to absorb much higher side loads. The piston shaft is machined from a single piece of 4340 chromoly. Trail-Gear Rock Assault double-ended ram kits are available with a 6, 8, or 10 in. stroke. The cylinder has a black zinc plated finish, while the rod has 3/4-16 in. female threads on each end.
