Through years of research, development, and testing Trail-Gear has developed these Rock Assault double-ended ram kits—to meet the tough demands of top-level rock crawling competitors and the toughest trails in the world. Most rams on the market only have one rod seal. Trail-Gear started with the primary and secondary rod seal to insure that fluid leakage would never be an issue. They also included two wiper seals in the design to ensure that dirt and debris stays on the trail—and doesn't invade your steering system. In addition, the ram was designed with a triple-lip piston seal for consistent steering with no drift or fluid bypassing the piston. In true Trail-Gear style, the Rock Assault kits are engineered to be the strongest on the market, so they're designed with a piston wear band and a rod bushing.
