Clearance is the key word for off-road enthusiasts. Navigating rocks and rugged terrain leaves your thin steering mechanism vulnerable to damage--which makes Trail-Gear high steer arms invaluable to your vehicle. These pressure-forged steel brackets provide solid mounting points to raise your pitman arm and steering rods a few more inches off the ground. This additional height can mean the difference between safe adventures … or a bent and useless steering component. Trail-Gear steer arms feature tapered tie rod holes for secure contact between parts, and they compensate for angles so your rod ends can ride at the OE-standard 90 degrees. For trucks, 4Runners, Land Cruisers, and other solid front axle rides, TG high steer arms are essential equipment when you venture off the beaten path.

Wilwood ProSpindle steering arms are specifically designed for use in fabricated A-arm suspensions on kit cars, street rods, drag cars—and other custom or race applications configured around Pinto/Mustang ll suspension geometry. A redesigned one-piece forged steel body uses common Pinto and Mustang ll tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings, and seals. It's lightweight yet nearly 3x stronger than OE or aftermarket 2-piece cast iron and steel replacement spindles. The 2 in. dropped spindle pin provides the desired lowered ride height without disturbing the suspension geometry. Bolt-on steering arms are strong and can be reversed to accommodate rear steer configurations. They also allow the same spindle to be used on either side of a vehicle. Bolt-on caliper brackets attach to substantially reinforced mounting bosses on the spindle body for secure, deflection-free mounting of 4- or 6-piston calipers.

The last thing you would ever want is failure in a steering component. Spidertrax Off-Road's Ultimate High Steer Arm kits go above and beyond the competition in providing the safest and strongest steering arm available today. They start with only the finest U.S. grade 4140 chromoly steel and CNC-machine every arm to guarantee a perfect fit on every Spidertrax Ultimate Knuckle. Each arm is heat-treated after machining, never before, making it the strongest high steer arm on the planet. Spidertrax goes to great lengths in keeping your drag link and tie rod mounts parallel to the ground, providing the maximum amount of strength and articulation in your steering joints. In addition, every arm has three 5/8 in. diameter mounting holes for your drag link so each application can be dialed in perfectly. To keep your steering arms secure at all times, every arm uses six 1/2 in. bolts that exceed Grade 8. In addition, every arm has an interlocking keyway that secures it to the top of your Spidertrax Ultimate Knuckle. Additional notes: * Kits are available separately for driver or passenger side * Complete with arm and six matching bolts and lock washers * Designed and intended to use on Spidertrax Ultimate Knuckles for bolt-on steering

Whether you're just starting out with crossover steering or going full hydro, these Artec Industries Ultimate 60 high steer arms are meant to handle it all—and provide you options as well! Rather than use the factory kingpin springs, the knuckle is held together with a springless design that uses a set screw to adjust the torque required to hold together. This eliminates some of the slop commonly found in axles after moderate off-road abuse. The hardware for a springless conversion is included, and consists of a 3/4 in. set screw, jam nut, grease zerk, 1/4 in. thick load washer, and upper kingpin bushing for each arm. The Artec Industries Ultimate 60 high steer arms are machined blank to allow custom tie rod and draglink locations. The knuckle bolt hole is not machined into the high steer arm because the factory hole location in every knuckle is different; thus, to fit your knuckle perfectly, the holes need to be drilled according to the knuckles they will attach to. Artec high steer arms are CNC-machined from 1 1/4 in. thick 1018 cold roll steel and then zinc plated for corrosion protection.

After lifting your vehicle it is highly recommended to install a raised steering arm like those available from Rough Country to correct the vehicles steering geometry. Due to the increased height, a vehicles turning radius can be affected. Rough Country offers raised steering arms that are specifically engineered for lifted 3-bolt open knuckle steering applications to provide a simple solution to correct draglink alignment and reduces steering vibration. This type of steering system is common in certain older Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs. These raised steering arms offered by Rough Country have been designed to be a direct replacement part for the factory arm in these specific vehicles. Benefits of corrected geometry using raised steering arms: * Improved turning radius—by restoring the proper steering angle, the raised steering arm can help maintain the vehicle's full turning radius, which can be reduced by a lift kit * Reduced bump steer to correct the steering geometry * Enhanced handling—properly aligned steering improves the overall feel and responsiveness of the vehicle's steering, leading to a more confident driving experience

AFCO Racing offers metric steering arms for a variety of applications, including many Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac cars and trucks from the 1970s and '80s. The 3-piece GM metric spindles are a re-creation of OEM spec spindles in a newly forged, heat-treated steel design that's both stronger and lighter than the original. Their unique 3-piece construction provides for fast, convenient and affordable replacement of individual components in the event of a crash. These spindles are IMCA, USMTS, and USRA approved and work great with AFCO's 1979-Up GM metric front brake rotors, bearings, calipers, etc. The "Short Arm Pinto Style" spindle is an adaptation of the above 3-piece metric spindle. It fits the '79–Up metric hub, calipers and the extended 20038-1 (K6117) lower ball joint. The upper ball joint boss is reamed to 7 degrees to accept the popular 20034 (K772) screw-in ball joint. The steering arm is Pinto length and lowered to help correct bump steer. These replacement steering arms are available separately for the left and right side of your vehicle.
