EPAS Performance Electric Power Steering Kits
EPAS Performance electric power steering kits provide modern power steering for your classic car. These performance systems are available to outfit a wide range of vintage and classic vehicles from 1920-1980. An easy step-by-step installation manual is available online for each of the kits that EPAS offers. There is no major or irreversible modifications made to your vehicle, as everything is located under your dash and is almost, if not completely, invisible. How the systems work: The computer measures the amount of effort on the steering wheel and amplifies it with the aid of the electric motor. A potentiometer allows you to have more or less assistance, so you can adjust the amount of power assist. For example, you can have maximum power assist while on a parking lot, and less on the highway. Select the EPAS Performance electric power steering kit for your application needs. Classic Performance Collapsible Steering Shafts
Classic Performance collapsible steering shafts offer an added measure of safety, compared to conventional steering columns, and collapse in the event of a major front impact. They are not only a safety feature, but also are an excellent way to eliminate flex and binds in your steering shaft. The collapsible steering shafts include a universal joint, to connect to the end of the tilt steering column, and a rag joint, to connect to the top of the power steering box. Note: Not recommended for stock columns.
