Replace your heavy stock K-member with one of these tubular QA1 Mustang K-members and, in addition to the weight savings, you'll get better steering geometry, less bump steer, reduced dive under braking, and quicker straight-line performance. Ideal for street performance, autocross, pro touring or drag racing, they easily bolt onto factory components without any wheel or tire fitment changes. Features and benefits include: * All mounting points are digitally-indexed from new factory K-members * Made from high-quality, American-made, high-strength, low-alloy steel (HSLA) steel * Weighs only 25 lbs.--over 50 percent lighter than stock K-members * Increased header and oil pan clearance for easier maintenance and installation * Modular design for versatility--bolt-in engine mounts can easily be swapped for future engine changes * Improved geometry--maintains optimum anti-dive and minimizes bump steer with selectable rack height and optimal control arm positioning * Ideal for Mustangs with a lowered stance * Retain the factory wheel base Note: For best results, QA1 control arms are strongly recommended

Stifflers Suspension lower chassis braces dramatically increase the strength and stiffness of the front chassis area. Available for both factory and aftermarket K-members, this additional stiffness minimizes flexing to help maintain correct front suspension geometry while under load. The result is tighter steering response and more predictable handling under cornering and braking. Where applicable, Stifflers' lower chassis braces can be combined with their Spider braces (sold separately) to completely integrate the front and rear chassis sections for unprecedented car control. Features include: * Manufactured from high-strength tubing to maximize stiffness and strength while reducing weight * Design optimized using CAD/CAE software combined with real-world test data * Industrial-grade powdercoated for long life * Select models available that will work with aftermarket long tube headers * Includes hardware and rod ends (where applicable) * Depending on application, welding and drilling may be required

OER Authorized bolt-in IFS conversion kits are available for 1947-54 GM pickups with a V8 engine. The kits will improve your vehicle's ride, handling, and performance. These steel crossmember kits convert your antiquated stock front suspension and steering box to a more modern 1974-78 Mustang II or 1974-80 Pinto/Bobcat setup. Enjoy better handling with the addition of rack and pinion steering and twice the suspension travel when compared to stock. Combine this advancement in steering and suspension with the added benefit of modern braking power, and this setup becomes a no-brainer. The bolt-in kit is designed for use on 1947-54 Chevy 1/2 ton or light-duty 3/4 ton frames, and will drop the ride height approximately 2 1/2 to 3 in. using stock Mustang II front spindles. Lower control arm pivot tubes and gussets are not included in this kit. (A weld-in crossmember it is also available, if preferred.) Specs: * Bolt-in components. No welding required * Proven Mustang II geometry * Can use stock 1974-78 Mustang II or 1974-80 Pinto suspension components, except control arms. * Requires tubular control arms (strut-less style lowers) * Interlocking bolt-in boxing plates reinforce frame for strength * Requires power steering rack * Stock spindles will drop ride height 2-1/2" - 3 inches * Will work with small block or big block Chevy engines * Not for use with air-ride front ends Note: Additional items may be needed to complete installation, including but not limited to tubular control arms, spindles, coilover springs/shocks, rack and pinion steering, tie rods, calipers, rotors, inner tie-rod extensions. Important: Lower control arms need to be level with the ground (with all the weight on the vehicle) for correct steering geometry.

Stifflers Suspension strut tower braces add strength and stiffness to the front end by integrating the strut towers and firewall, greatly reducing flex and alignment changes caused by front suspension loads during cornering and braking. Reducing this flex provides increased steering response and stability, giving you improved overall handling and control. Features include: * Engineered to be used with most 3- or 4-bolt caster/camber plates * Clears most aftermarket cold-air and supercharger inlets * Manufactured of DOM tubing to maximize stiffness and strength while reducing weight * Triangulated mounting is far stiffer than standard 2-point braces * Design optimized using CAD/CAE software combined with real-world test data * TIG-welded for superior strength * Industrial-grade powdercoated for long life
