These kits include meaty steel components--brackets, bolts, and template—that allow modification of the factory trailing arm crossmember for dual exhaust. They are ideal options if you don't want to remove the crossmember and still be able to tuck the exhaust up inside the frame, and they are the perfect solution for someone that doesn't have access to a welding machine. The provided metal template allows perfect alignment for the bolt holes and exhaust cut out. It utilizes an existing hole in the crossmember to locate the template, then insert one of the supplied bolts, clamp in place, and mark the remaining holes for drilling. For the center hole, the hole in the template is larger to allow a plasma torch to be used as a guide, but if you don't have a plasma torch other means, such as a hole saw, can still be used to cut the hole.
