They are a must for any performance application. They're built out of round 1 5/8 in. x .125 in. wall roll cage tubing. The construction attaches to the factory support rails located directly under the front seats. The rear portion of the subframe attaches to the rear leaf spring mount and frame rail. Additional gussets are included in the kit, which add support to the rear spring mount. Welding is required for installation.

These steel crossmember kits convert your antiquated stock front suspension and steering box to a more modern 1974-78 Mustang II or 1974-80 Pinto/Bobcat setup. Enjoy better handling with the addition of rack and pinion steering and twice the suspension travel when compared to stock.
