At the core of these kits are Stifflers' unique single-tube crossmembers—adding strength and stiffness beyond that of OEM versions, while offering versatility without the excess weight. They also allow more exhaust clearance. To install, simply slide the mounting sleeves and reposition the spacers to cover your application. Available in durable steel or lightweight aluminum, these fenderwells or wheel tubs come in multiple sizes to fit the largest of tires with plenty of clearance. They are formed with bead rolls for strength and a "hammer over edge" or "Pittsburgh seam" where the sides join the tub. Fenderwells come unassembled and ship flat. Once trimmed they are easily put together with a hammer and dolly by folding the edge over.
