BD Diesel Steering Upgrade Kits

A major common weak point on Chevrolet/GM HD series trucks is the steering linkage and tie rods—with high-torque engines, lift kits, and larger tires putting greater strains on the steering system than what OEM intended. Common failures include loose steering, front wheels toe-in under load while in 4WD, and broken tie rods. If you have performance upgrades in your truck, lifted it or do serious towing, it's time for a steering upgrade kit from BD Diesel. In kit P/N 1032150, the forged I-Beam centerlink is 30 percent stronger than OEM, which reduces flex in the steering system and creates a strong base for the tie rods to be attached to. The tie rods are 1.5x thicker than OEM for reduced flex and have larger inner ball joints for reduced wear. Testing has shown the BD tie rods can take over double the amount of force that OEM rods can handle. Greaseable ball joints come with sintered bearings and allow for better load holding and increased life. Longer, high-strength through-bolt designed sway bar end links are included to accommodate larger tie rods and leveling kits. Polyurethane bushings have OEM-style shaping for articulation and durability. The entire kit retains factory geometry for accurate steering and will allow for any OEM replacement parts to drop-in without any geometry sacrifice or modification required. Other upgrade kit designs change the geometry of the steering, which can sacrifice safety and drivability for straight line strength while pulling or racing. This can also create a dangerous "bump steer" where the vehicle becomes uncontrollable on uneven roads. By not altering the steering geometry, the BD upgrade kit saves you from this problem. The total package is an economic upgrade for worn-out steering and will increase the durability, longevity, and dependability of your truck—while saving money by preventing catastrophic repairs. See if there's a steering upgrade kit that's compatible with your vehicle.

RideTech 1964-66 Mustang Complete Coilover Suspension Systems

The Ridetech complete coilover suspension system for the 1964-66 Ford Mustang includes everything you need to give your vintage muscle car modern drivability. The package contains front upper and lower control arms, tall spindles, steering arms, inner and outer tie rods, front MuscleBar, a bolt-In 4=link system, and four HQ Series coilovers for every corner of your vehicle. The benefit of buying a complete suspension system is that it removes all the guesswork when purchasing a new suspension. Ridetech has spent hours collecting data to find a perfect spring rate and components for your vehicle's performance and ride quality—designed to lower your vehicle. * Upper StrongArms feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. The upper ball joint have been moved back to allow for additional caster setting to improve high-speed stability and steering feel. Billet cross-shafts are included that feature a lowered mounting point to increase camber gain and correct suspension geometry. They house a stout double sheer lower shock mount. * Lower StrongArms feature a unique design that combines the control arm and strut rod into a stronger, more appealing one-piece design. Additional caster is designed into the arms and includes a robust bearing in an aluminum housing at the front mount to replace the soft factory rubber units. * TruTurn System includes tall spindles which induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. It also includes steering arms, center link adapter, tie rods and adjusters to virtually eliminate bump steer, correct Ackerman angle, and allow for wider tires. Includes heavy-duty frame rail brace. This spindle is designed for use with 1967-69 Camaro brake systems. Compatible with OEM manual steering AND with the Borgeson power steering conversion box. * Optional "Hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindles, but add the performance and simplicity of late model Mustang hubs and brakes. Includes S550 2015-23 Mustang hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking and reduced maintenance. Compatible with 2015-23 Mustang brake systems, OE and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17 in. wheels. Hubs fit Ford car 5 x 4.5 in. lug pattern and include 14mm studs. * HQ Series coilovers utilize an impact forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling. They allow fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling; the rebound knob is located at the top of the shock for underhood access. The shocks come standard with a 1,000,0001 Mile Warranty. Interested in Autocross or Road Course racing? Consider the TQ Series coilovers. * Front MucleBar sway bar helps reduce body roll and includes the PosiLink end links that provide immediate engagement between the chassis and control arms. Includes billet aluminum frame straps (anodized black) and low-friction bushings. * Bolt-on 4-link dramatically improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation does not require significant modifications to the floor pan and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube. Works with mini-tubs. All links are double adjustable with R-Joint rod ends, which combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing that is at home on the street as it is on the race track! * Weld-on lower axle brackets are available if using an aftermarket axle housing without stock-style leaf spring pads. (Part number 70010122, sold separately.)

BMR Suspension A-Arms

BMR A-arms stabilize your vehicle. A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. BMR Suspension A-arms are fabricated from heavy-duty 0.095 in. wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel for extra strength and to eliminate deflection. BMR A-arms are fitted with heavy-duty ball joints and 95-durometer polyurethane bushings for a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. Polyurethane adds strength and reduces deflection over the stock rubber bushings, while still absorbing much of the NVH, providing you with a great blend of performance and comfort. Designed for street performance, drag race, handling, and pro-touring applications, BMR A-arms give you improved geometry and increased lateral grip during cornering situations.
