Tin Soldier Racecars 4-link kits are designed for ultimate traction and adjustability while offering exceptional strength. The chassis brackets are laser cut from 1/4 in. thick plate and feature 1/2 in. staggered holes for all the adjustment you need whether on a radial or slick. The chassis brackets are notched on the bottom for 1 5/8 in. tube, and have through holes for a 1 5/8 in. tube on top. The brackets are set up for 15 in. tube spread, but can be cut down to 12 in., if needed. Each bracket features ProJack tabs incorporated into the bottom of the brackets. The axle housing brackets are designed around 275/315 or 28/29 in. tall tires, but still work well with larger tires. They are laser cut from 1/4 in. thick plate and feature 1/2 in. staggered holes for all the adjustment you need, whether on a radial or slick. The axle housing brackets are made for 3.5 in. axle tubes and feature 6 in. shock adjustment in 3/4 in. increments, while including ProJack tabs incorporated into the bottom of the brackets. Steel shock mounts are included. The bars are made from chromoly tube and feature 3/4 in. HD chromoly rod ends with zinc plated jam nuts. One of the most effective ways to improve the stiffness and handling of your vehicle is to box the factory chassis. Hellwig Frame FX kits makes it easy for you. Rather than taking considerable time with measuring, cutting, and fitting steel panels these kits simplify the process effectively. Some vehicles have an open C-channel chassis that's only 3 in. wide at the top and bottom. This design is inherently weak in handling torsion and marginal in bending. Frame FX kits double the width of the tension side of the frame rail and close the area for dramatic increases in torsional and bending stiffness. They're comprised of 14 pre-cut 10-gauge steel panels matching the thickness of the factory frame--and fit into the weak points of the factory chassis. Hellwig engineered another panel that adds an extra mount to tie the floor to the chassis, furnishing even more strength to the entire car. In addition, brackets are provided to mount the transmission crossmember, with enough adjustment to accommodate nearly any drivetrain configuration. The increased strength via Hellwig Frame FX kits results in improved handling and ride quality, while retaining the factory chassis and mounting points.
