Trail-Gear universal heavy-duty hydro assist ram kits feature a heavy-duty single-ended hydraulic ram in your choice of 6 in. or 8 in. stroke. Trail-Gear's specially designed ram features a 1 1/8 in. rod for maximum strength and a 2 1/4 in. diameter bore for maximum steering force. The provided mounting brackets in kit have fitments made from 1/4 in. thick-formed steel. The specially formed brackets fit most applications to make installation a breeze, however, do take note some applications may require additional cutting and/or grinding. Hardware, JIC hoses, and steering box fittings are included. Trail-Gear recommends a 6 in. stroke for most Toyota applications and a 8 in. stroke for Dana applications. Important Note: Use only standard power steering fluid with this product. The use of ATF fluid, semi-synthetic fluid, or full synthetic fluid not recommended and void the warranty. Additional components required: high steer kit, steering box drilled and tapped for hydro assist.

Whether you're just starting out with crossover steering or going full hydro, these Artec Industries Ultimate 60 high steer arms are meant to handle it all—and provide you options as well! Rather than use the factory kingpin springs, the knuckle is held together with a springless design that uses a set screw to adjust the torque required to hold together. This eliminates some of the slop commonly found in axles after moderate off-road abuse. The hardware for a springless conversion is included, and consists of a 3/4 in. set screw, jam nut, grease zerk, 1/4 in. thick load washer, and upper kingpin bushing for each arm. The Artec Industries Ultimate 60 high steer arms are machined blank to allow custom tie rod and draglink locations. The knuckle bolt hole is not machined into the high steer arm because the factory hole location in every knuckle is different; thus, to fit your knuckle perfectly, the holes need to be drilled according to the knuckles they will attach to. Artec high steer arms are CNC-machined from 1 1/4 in. thick 1018 cold roll steel and then zinc plated for corrosion protection.
