General Motors' tailshaft mounted design works great for a stock-driven vehicle; however, it is not designed to take abuse and hard launches. UMI Performance torque arm relocation kits replace your transmission crossmember with a new, stronger setup with a built-in torque arm mount. Each relocation kit is designed to fit a specific transmission and will work with virtually any stock-style aftermarket torque arm, as well as with the factory torque arm. Most stock chassis flex dramatically, even with mild amounts of torque and horsepower. BMR suspension strut tower braces reduce chassis flex and increase handling and performance. They are manufactured from a mix of large diameter DOM steel tubing and thick laser-cut steel plate. Depending on the application, they are available in two-point and four-point designs that solidly link the front strut towers, adding strength to the entire front unibody and suspension. Most are available in black hammertone and red powdercoat finishes for long-lasting good looks. BMR strut tower braces are 100 percent bolt-in.
