Offered in 2 in. and 2.5 in. body diameters, the 2.5 in. models will absorb more impact energy and are recommended by Trail Gear for vehicles over 5,000 lbs. or trucks with highly leveraged A-arms or trailing arms. Of course, both sizes are sure to improve your overall off-road experience. Trail-Gear Hydraulic smooth body bump stops are fully rebuildable, easily tunable through the Schrader valve on top, and TG's unique automatic velocity sensitive valving technology saves you time by eliminating the need to adjust shim packs. The bump stops also help prevent damage from occurring to expensive shocks and suspension components by absorbing impacts at full suspension compression. Trail-Gear smooth body, pin top bump stops are available in 2 in., 3 in., and 4 in. travel options, and can be purchased individually or in sets that will also include four 1/4 in. thick ASTM A36 steel weld-on universal mounting brackets. Replace the front axle housing upper control arm bushings with Johnny Joint rod ends from RockJock to get maximum articulation out of your suspension! These kits include a Johnny Joint insert for gear case ear and installation tool, as well as a 1 in. thick flame-cut steel upright for the tube side, with the Johnny Joint already installed. Installation is straightforward: Cut off the top of the stock bracket on the tube and weld the new Rock Jock piece into the existing bracket base.
