All American Billet GM Type II (Saginaw TC Series) power steering pumps are designed for use with a remote reservoir (sold separately). The top fitting is -6 AN for connecting the pressure hose to the steering box; and the side fitting is -10 AN for the feed from the reservoir. Multiple finishes are available. Power steering pumps use engine power to generate hydraulic pressure, which then assists the driver in turning the steering wheel by pushing fluid through the steering system. The pump is typically powered by the engine's serpentine belt.
