Ride Tech rear coilover upgrade packages include everything needed to give your muscle car a lowered stance with dramatically improved handling and ride quality. The systems contains rear StrongArms and either single-adjustable HQ Series or triple-adjustable TQ Series coilover shocks. Component features: * Rear StrongArms--provide added strength to help get the power to the pavement. They utilize R-Joint Technology to provide smooth operation and reduce roll bind. Lower arms feature a double sheer mount for the coilovers locating them in place of the stock springs, keeping the load where it belongs. * HQ Series coilovers--impact forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling. They allow fine-tuning of the ride quality and handling. * TQ Series coilovers--remote reservoir triple-adjustable shocks feature rebound adjustment along with dual stage (high-speed and low-speed) compression adjustment. These CoolRide systems have the greatest application coverage and versatility of all of RideTech's systems. They will raise and lower the vehicle, improve the handling, and offer a terrific ride. On a front system, the shock is usually relocated to the outboard side of the lower control arm. A weld-on bracket mounts the top of the shock to the frame rail. On a rear system, the air spring and shock absorber will normally go in the stock locations. These CoolRide systems consist of an air spring, a shock absorber, and all of the necessary mounting bracketry and hardware.
