UMI Performance Competition Front End Kits
Tremendous front grip and a host of features can be yours with UMI Performance Competition front-end kits. The included A-arm kit enables 10 degrees caster while maintaining standard track width and wheelbase. Lower A-arms are assembled with tall lower ball joints to optimize roll center, camber gain, and center of gravity. Lower A-arms feature Delrin bushings for smooth travel and bind-free performance. The new lower A-arm works in conjunction with the included adjustable upper arm—which features minimum shim adjustability, Pro Forged ball joints, and super-smooth PTFE lined rod ends. The front sway bar attaches using UMI's swivel-style end link design and double shear mounting system. The included Viking Crusader coilover shocks mount to the lower A-arm in double shear quick-change brackets. The lower shock mount is removable to allow spring and shock changes at the track. UMI's kit features Viking Crusader shocks with AT pro-touring valving (high rebound tie-down for road race and autocross) and a true 2.5 in. racing coilover. The upper stud mount fits in the factory location, while the lower is optimized to fit UMI's 3057-1 coilover lower A-arm. Some grinding is required for installation in the upper frame spring bucket. Other spring rates and valve codes are available. The Competition kits have been battle-tested on the iconic UMI Green Machine. Kits are available in red or black powdercoat; and are 100 percent designed, manufactured, and raced with pride in the USA.

UMI Performance Competition Shock Mounts
UMI Performance competition shock mounts are upper double shear brackets intended for use with 1/2 in. bearing, racing-style shocks. These powdercoated steel brackets allow for removal of the rust-prone upper mount unit (and associated rubber biscuit), converting it to racing-style double shear. UMI recommends using these mounts with UMI Afco shocks, Viking shocks, and with most other standard-style racing shocks.

UMI Performance 1993-2002 GM F-body road race competition front lower A-arm kits provide a rock-solid foundation for your autocross, road race or corner carving 4th Gen. These heavy-duty boxed lower A-arms have dual rod ends and are fully gusseted box tubing construction that combines strength with a five pound weight savings per set over factory lower A-arms. Shock mounting is a double shear with a 1/2 in. dia. x 1 1/4 in. width racing coilover mount—suitable for most racing coilover systems. Revised ball joint location adds a nominal 2 degrees caster increase. These arms have double shear sway bar mount tabs with end link set included and are designed to work with the factory K-member, UMI K-members, and virtually all aftermarket K-members. UMI Performance Sway Bar Relocation Brackets
UMI Performance sway bar relocation brackets provide greater clearances around your steering system and struts by moving the mounting points slightly forward. This allows for a greater variety of options—including adjustable-style struts and/or the use of UMI's upgraded billet sway bar mounts (sold separately). These kits include optional spacers to allow proper installation with UMI's front wonder bar, and may work with other wonder bars, as well. UMI Performance sway bar relocation brackets are an excellent upgrade for rusted factory units or those that are breaking from competition use. Installation Note: These relocation brackets eliminate the offset factory sway bar clamshell and use off-the-shelf sway bar bushings/mounts. Factory sway bar mounts will not work with these brackets. UMI Street Performance monotube front shocks are designed to bridge the gap between basic street shocks and aggressive racing shocks. Medium-firm compression valving provides crisp handling and absorbs bumps, while still providing a comfortable ride.
