Heidts rack and pinion extension kits are designed to extend the center portion of the Mustang II rack and pinion. They can also be used with wider Mustang II based kits to keep the steering geometry precise. Heidts rack and pinion extension kits include two 2 in. rack extensions, two extra-long bellows, and installation hardware. The kits are available for different thread sizes; be sure to measure the thread on your rack and pinion to determine the correct size.

Make your IFS stock upgrade a natural conversion with Heidts Mustang II crossmember kits. They are precut and pre-fitted, so you'll have no measuring, no grinding, no trimming, and no mistakes! Heidts crossmember kits are ready to install when you are. Main crossmembers are constructed from only two formed pieces for maximum strength with an accurate fit and feature the strong design of vertical inner uprights offering twice the weld area to keep your frame from twisting. Crossmembers and spring towers with built-in anti-dive are pre-welded to fit your frame and one-piece shock cups are TIG-welded in place. Kit components may vary by application, but most include all of the special, hard-to-make brackets and mounts that you need to complete the install. Heidts kits retain the original suspension to give you the correct design, correct camber action, and no bump steer! Everything is pretty much done but the installation--that, you'll have to do yourself! But never fear--Heidts Mustang II crossmembers include a step-by-step, fully-illustrated instruction book to walk you through your install.
