E-Stopp Push-Button Electric Emergency Brakes
E-Stopp push-button electric emergency brakes are perfect for custom trucks, street rods, or any vehicle. They not only free up room on the chassis and in the interior, but double as an anti-theft device when the activation button is hidden. The E-Stopp units will work with any kind of braking system that can accept an emergency brake cable; and they mount anywhere there's room on the chassis. Kits include the actuator, the control box with lighted push-button switch, and wire connectors. E-Stopp push-button electric emergency brakes are controlled by a microcomputer that regulates the amount of pull--they will only pull up to 600 lbs. before they're locked down. The button has a detachable head for easy install, and allows both visual and audible recognition. Also included is a patented ignition safety feature that renders the brake inoperable while the ignition is on. E-Stopp recently added another ground sync wire that can be hooked up to the parking symbol light on your dashboard. Again, this system can be used as a theft deterrent by hiding the e-brake button under the dash or in the glove compartment, or by installing a kill switch. Basically, if someone doesn't know how to unlock your rear end, they'll have a difficult time stealing your vehicle.

CVR Electric Diaphragm-Style Vacuum Pumps
Maintain your brake vacuum level with CVR electric vacuum pumps. Available in billet and economy versions, these 12 V pumps are self-contained units that require no wiring of the relays or switches. Simply connect the positive/negative power and the units will regulate the vacuum level itself. CVR electric vacuum pumps are designed to activate when vacuum drops below 15 in. and increase the brake vacuum level to 20 in. These pumps are made for vehicles using engine combinations that provide little or no manifold vacuum required for braking and can be mounted in any position.

Most people who build vehicles have parts here, there, and everywhere. When you have something cool like E-Stopp push button emergency brakes, everyone that comes by looks at the kit. E-Stopp replacement control boxes are available when the original falls asleep while playing hide and seek. These micro computer-controlled boxes regulate pull up to 600 lbs., have both audible and visual recognition, and are exact copies of the originals. It would be great to know where socks and parts walk off to, but until then you can always order an E-Stopp replacement control box.

BD Diesel Engine Exhaust Brakes
BD Engine Brakes enable your diesel to navigate downhill grades and mountainous terrain easier and safer than the vehicle's conventional braking system. This will increase the life of the stock foundation brakes and prevent brake fade under severe-grade driving. The factory-approved backpressure provides the retarding horsepower to slow down the vehicle on even the steepest descents, or just for a highway off-ramp. The exhaust flow is not restricted when the stainless butterfly is open in the large 4 in. casting that bolts into the exhaust system. The kits come with a lighted toggle switch for mounting conveniently on the dash. The brake releases as soon as the throttle is applied or the switch is flipped off. As with other BD designs, the backpressure is self-regulating. Once the pressure reaches specification, the butterfly position changes to maintain the highest pressure possible. This variable orifice design offers far superior retarding performance throughout the engine rpm range, compared to a fixed orifice design that only offers peak retarding performance at peak rpm.
