Strange Engineering's stainless steel brake kits are designed for drag racing's most abusive applications, offering drag racers a safer and more efficient alternative to conventional carbon steel brakes. Strange's Dynamic Drive Mount (DDM) system secures the stainless rotor with an internal Spirolox--eliminating all thermally generated stress from rotor attachment points and further reducing rotating weight. The system also permits the hat and rotor to expand and contract independently, allowing for thermal expansion, which drastically reduces warping, coning, and cracking. Strange Evolution Dynamic Drive Mount brake kits feature Evolution S DDM stainless steel rotors machined from premium stainless billets, proprietary heat treated, and fully ground. The kits also contain Evolution 4 calipers, high performance metallic or semi-metallic brake pads, additional components, and hardware.
