The Right Stuff offers hydraulic brake assist power brake booster kits in a variety of configurations for many different vehicles—including GM and GMC applications from the 1960s, '70s, and '80s. Hydraulic brake assist uses pressure from the power steering pump to provide braking boost, and includes a high-pressure accumulator that has enough capacity to provide several power-assisted stops in the event that the power steering pump belt breaks or a hose ruptures.
