When your motorcycle, ATV/UTV, or side-by-side’s stopping power starts to fade, new brake rotors (and pads) can restore or improve the performance of your powersports braking system. Most powersports rotors are made from steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, and come with a variety of great-looking finishes. Solid-surface rotors provide consistent braking performance, while slotted or cross-drilled rotors deliver improved heat dissipation for less brake fade and better stopping power. For maximum braking performance, you can step up to floating rotors. These rotors are constructed with an outer steel friction disc attached...

These rotors are constructed with an outer steel friction disc attached to an aluminum center hub (or carrier) with rivets. The 2-piece floating design reduces unsprung weight, improves pad-to-rotor contact, and provides superior heat dissipation. Whatever you ride—motorcycle, ATV/UTV or side-by-side—your braking system upgrade starts at Summit Racing. Shop our extensive collection of powersports front and rear brake rotors, plus brake pads and brake fluid from the brands you trust today.

Galfer Wave Rotors

Sport bikes often push the limits of OEM parts rather quickly. Their high speeds and hard braking are tough on most every type of system. Galfer wave rotors are engineered using CAD-CAM … stress-tested and real-world tested on the track and street before being made available to the public. Unlike most rotors, these are laser-cut from high-carbon 420 stainless steel with eight composites; they're double disc parallel ground, and heat-treated to each specific application. They use a washer system for a full-floating design with lots of memory tension so that the rotor will return to correct size after heating cycles. These unique building processes lead to the best friction surface of any stainless steel street and track rotor, with consistent and predictably outstanding performance in all conditions. The patented inner and outer Wave design minimizes heat transfer, improves the lever feel and feedback, and makes for a stronger, more progressive brake than its competition. Galfer wave rotors combine optimum design, testing, and manufacturing to bring the consumer a rotor that is KBA-TUV approved and will handle whatever you put it through.
