The forged construction offers 25 percent higher tensile strength and 35 percent higher fatigue strength than cast hubs. An EDP coating adds a layer of corrosion resistance. The hubs come with races, wheel studs installed, quality wheel bearings, inner seal, washer, castle nut, and cotter pin. Everything needed to complete the installation is included.

These conversion kits are billet steel with a 4mm thick brake rotor for maximum stopping power. The rotor rings have extra weight-reducing scraper holes that are riveted together with a 9-button sturdy rivet system. These rotors come complete with anodized alloy relocation brackets for various models and are supplied with the complete rotor unit. The 4-wheel disc brake upgrade (Corvette-style, 4-piston calipers for both front and rear) was offered on the 1968 Camaro as a "heavy-duty service" package sold through the parts counter at Chevrolet car dealers. In 1969, the 4-piston disc brakes could be ordered as a Regular Production Option (RPO) JL8 package on production vehicles. These high-end brakes were made available to support racing programs like the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and Trans-Am road racing series. This unique brake option is very rare and was only sold on about 200 production vehicles.
