Wilwood XRZ4R Radial Mount Calipers

Wilwood's next generation XRZ4R radial mount calipers combine decades of race experience, computer finite element analysis (FEA), and state-of-the-art machining to produce a race caliper that is lighter and stiffer, with zero drag. The innovative complex shape of the caliper body removes unnecessary bulk, improves brake and fluid cooling, and actually decreases deflection. Four Thermlock thermal barrier pistons reduce heat transfer to the brake fluid, and the staggered bore size front calipers provide more even engagement with improved pad wear. Piston bores are hard-anodized inside and on the surface with Type III aluminum-oxide ceramic finish for durability and are equipped with single-point bleed technology and low-profile bleed screws for easy serviceability. No-bind pad retaining pins (spare included) hold your choice of multiple 0.80 in. thick Wilwood race compound brake pads for extended service life. Select the model designed to fit your application.

Wilwood Poly-Carbon Matrix brake pads feature a medium to medium-high friction compound. They're designed for high performance street/strip, drag race, and track day applications. The pads are intended for use with carbon-ceramic rotors only. They are an exceptional choice for braking friction, initial bite, pad and rotor wear rates, modulation, release, and high temperature brake fade resistance. Poly-Carbon Matrix pads are compatible with more than a dozen caliper models. Select the set recommended for your vehicle.
