Johnson's Hot Rod Shop JHRS Kinmont Safety Stop Brakes
Johnson's Hot Rod Shop Kinmont Safety Stop brakes combine the vintage look of the original Kinmont design with the stopping power of modern disc brakes. They also include internal features that make them easy to bleed and maintenance-free. Designed around the venerable 1937-48 Ford spindle, they use a 10.5 in. vented rotor with a 4-piston caliper. The aluminum caliper is equipped with proper internal dust caps and seals, and stainless steel pistons. The design allows for easy assembly and access to the bleed valves. The drum cover and backing plate are precision cast and available in natural-cast or polished finishes. The billet aluminum hubs are offered in three patterns to fit most wheel configurations. There are other Kinmont replica brakes out there, but JHRS Kinmont Safety Stop brakes have what it takes to last and to look great for many years.

Baer Brakes Baer Claw Extreme+ disc brake systems are Baer's flagship offerings, featuring their forged Monoblock calipers mounted to 2-piece rotors. The Extreme+ systems employ current state-of-the-art race technology usually only found in very expensive race calipers. Baer now brings that technology to the road-going market. The 6S line of calipers represent Baer's most aggressive road offering and are suitable for virtually any level of track use. Optional R-Spec 6R calipers are a race version of 6S calipers; available for any Extreme+ system. The R-Spec calipers feature additional machining to the 6S calipers to save close to 2 lbs. per caliper and allow for top-loaded pads. Over 400 models are available for specific vehicle, bolt pattern, and axle applications. They feature lightweight, billet aluminum Super Twin 2-piston calipers—direct bolt-on replacements for many OEM applications—for better braking performance with less pad deflection. The calipers are clear anodized for added durability, but are also offered with a red or black powdercoat or polished finish. These brake kits include stainless flex lines, high performance pads, hardware, and CNC-machined turbo slotted rotors.
