Strange Engineering's stainless steel brake kits are designed for drag racing's most abusive applications, offering drag racers a safer and more efficient alternative to conventional carbon steel brakes. Strange's Dynamic Drive Mount (DDM) system secures the stainless rotor with an internal Spirolox--eliminating all thermally generated stress from rotor attachment points and further reducing rotating weight. The system also permits the hat and rotor to expand and contract independently, allowing for thermal expansion, which drastically reduces warping, coning, and cracking. Strange Evolution Dynamic Drive Mount brake kits feature Evolution S DDM stainless steel rotors machined from premium stainless billets, proprietary heat treated, and fully ground. The kits also contain Evolution 4 calipers, high performance metallic or semi-metallic brake pads, additional components, and hardware. Together they produce more efficient accelerating and stopping of your drag racing vehicle. Kits are available for front or rear. Choose those designed for your vehicle. Wilwood Narrow Dynapro-P radial rear brake kits are engineered as high performance street and race for 1969-1983 Porsche 911's with 3.50 in. caliper mounts. These rear brake kits combine the high-tech styling and superior performance of the NDPR-P calipers and the positive response, long wear, high fade resistance, and easy clean properties of the BP-10 compound Smart Pads. The kits include plain face or SRP drilled one-piece rotors made from proprietary alloys, and bolt directly to the front strut without the need for additional brackets or adapters. Lifted 4x4s with taller and heavier tire and wheel combinations need Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big brake front brake kits to restore stopping power. SL4 kits are specifically engineered per application, but all revolve around Forged Narow Superlite 4R four-piston stainless steel calipers with their 4-symmetrical bores and high clamping force. Oversized, proprietary iron alloy, Spec 37 rotors withstand extreme temperatures and have a high degree of resistance to warping, cracking, distortion, and wear. Both of these parts are built to work hard without issues, but Wilwood's kit doesn't stop there. They also feature forged aluminum mounting hats, BP-10 Smart Pads to increase friction and reduce pad dust, radial mounting brackets, and hardware.
