The G-Force III is the latest iteration of Go Fast Bits' feature-packed electronic boost controller—now with the ability to monitor and display your engine's air/fuel ratio in either Lambda or AFR. By connecting the analog output of most wideband oxygen controllers (i.e. Innovate LC-2, AEM UEGO etc.; sold separately) to the G-Force III's auxiliary input, you can toggle between boost pressure and air/fuel ratio display. This saves you from having to install a separate AFR gauge in your car, and it can also save your engine! A lean mixture at high boost can destroy an engine in seconds, and a stand-alone AFR gauge is next to useless when accelerating hard, as your concentration is likely to be on the road in front of you. The G-Force III safeguards your engine against a lean mixture by lowering boost to the minimum setting, and visibly warning you by flashing the display lighting. Whether your car is a daily driver or an all-out track weapon, the G-Force III has the features to tailor boost to suit your needs. Go Fast Bits Respons TMS Universal blow-off valves with TMS Advantage are patented adjustable venting bias system diverter valves. The Atomic from Go Fast Bits has earned a reputation as being one of the most reliable and effective single-stage manual boost controllers on the market—boasting a repeatable and steady boost curve, quick rise rate, and great bang-for-buck! The Atomic Boost Controller was tested on an MY02 Subaru WRX (whose only mods were a turbo-back exhaust) back-to-back with the factory controller. A base-line power run was performed with the factory boost control, and the boost level was measured at the same time. The Atomic was then installed and set to the same peak boost level of 0.9bar (13.2 psi) so that the spool-up time could be accurately compared before and after the installation. The Atomic logged massive gains down low in the rev range, as much as 18kW (23.4 hp) at the wheels! This increase in power shows that the Atomic allows the boost to rise significantly earlier than the factory controller, which on the road represents much better acceleration from a whopping 1,700 rpm earlier in the rev range. All this without exceeding the factory peak boost level, and for a pocket-money price! It's important to note that the MY01-02 (MY02-03 in the US, GDA chassis) model responds very well to this modification, because the factory boost mapping is very conservative in an attempt to keep the torque curve flat and the power delivery linear (which totally kills the feeling that you are driving a turbo!). Note of course that boost can be increased above the factory level for more power gains, but the purpose of this experiment was only to show the improved spool-up potential on this particular model WRX. So, if you want your GDA WRX to REALLY feel lively, fit an Atomic or Reactor boost controller for the best "bang-for-your-buck" modification you can make!

Air filters are too often overlooked. WIX air filter elements play a vital part in preventing foreign particles like soot, carbon, and abrasives from damaging your engine. Even the smallest dust particles can damage cylinder walls, pistons and piston rings and cause premature engine wear. WIX panel air filters provide air with a linear path and low restriction. They have special pocket pleats in the media, held together with specially formulated adhesive. The filter media is framed by a urethane sealing gasket and is supported (when applicable) by a mesh screen, which are both molded in place with the filter element. WIX radial air filters feature a mesh screen on the inside and outside walls for element strength and media protection from backfires. Each filter is held together with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed seals on the top and bottom walls and an adhesive seal that joins the media ends. WIX air filter elements for medium and heavy-duty trucks use more expensive compounds like silicone, rather than foam or rubber sealing gaskets, in order to assure a proper seal under harsh conditions. Their media feature embossed pleats and pleat stabilization beads that help the filter trap more dirt and last longer. End caps are designed with structure and fit in mind, many with metal end caps with handles, which allow for ease of installation and helps ensure that the filter becomes one with the housing to protect the engine.
