Turbosmart Gen-V Comp-Gate electronic wastegates are built on the successful, class leading Gen-V Comp-Gate 40 architecture. Starting with a Turbosmart Gen-V wastegate body, you can be confident the mounting orientation will match your existing manifold and outlet hardware. The Gen-V Comp-Gate 40 already had class leading flow capacity and heat handling characteristics. There are no springs, no hoses and no boost reference signal, nor any of the limitations associated with any of them. Gone, are minimum boost levels associated with base spring pressure or the heat related issues with hoses. If your manifold priority is good enough, you can set boost anywhere from zero up to "all of it" from your laptop or tuning interface. Turbosmart Gen-V electronic anti-lag valves are perfect for motorsport and high-performance applications featuring fully electronic actuation, removing the need for the solenoids and tanks of traditional pneumatic systems. They feature a 40mm valve diameter and purpose designed actuator housing. Multiple fittings are also supplied for ease of fitment and fabrication. The fresh air valve allows incoming charged fresh air from the turbo to be diverted safely into the exhaust manifold pre-turbine wheel with throttle at low opening angles. This allows for safer spooling of the turbocharger without potentially damaging the throttle based late combustion event style anti-lag that can induce high engine stresses and break connecting rods. The Tuning School Atlas Max boost controllers are positive displacement boost controllers that install easily with plug-and-play connections. They take all the features of the Atlas, and put you in control. With the turn of a dial you can control how quickly boost ramps in and by how much. The controller modifies the bypass valve control, utilizing boost/vacuum reference and a MAP sensor, as well as a smart processor, adjusting the ramp in rate of the positive displacement blower.
