Nitrous Express Lightning solenoids are designed to strike with efficient performance. Each is created with a raised inlet and a bottom exit that eliminates up to four 90 degree turns and one expansion area in the body of the solenoid—making it more effective to maximize power. Plus, each NX solenoid has a bypass (purge) port which allows you to connect a small bypass/return line to your tank; or connect a purge valve directly to the body of the nitrous solenoid, thus ensuring there is no trapped air in your system. Nitrous Express hot water nitrous bottle baths are a fast, reliable, and convenient way to maintain consistent pressure in your 10, 12, or 15 lb. nitrous bottles. They're the best engineered and highest quality water-based bottle heaters available. These units feature a high-strength composite tank design with built-in features and benefits that would not be possible with welded metal tanks. The composite tank is stronger and more durable than a comparable metal tank; plus, the composite tank will never rust or oxidize. Composite tanks insulate better than metal tanks, so the water heats more quickly and the heater element does not have to turn on as often. Nitrous Express molded a separator shelf inside the tank which keeps the bottles from sliding into the heating element during transport. Carrying slots are flush molded into the side of the tank to minimize the space the tank occupies. On top of the bottle baths is a digital display, so you don't have to bend over to see the temperature setting. The digital control circuit is easy to set and automatically maintains water temperature within 1 degree of accuracy. These time delay switches (DIP Switch) allow you to activate a second or third stage of nitrous, or any other electrical device, as a function of time. The delays are easily set from 1/10th of a second to almost two minutes, in 1/10th second increments, by setting the small switches on top of the timer. It's very appropriate that the nozzles at the heart of the Nitrous Express Shark SX2 nozzle nitrous systems look like the business end of one of the big booster rockets in Russia's space program, because the SX2 systems deliver power big-time--up to 1,200 hp, in fact!
