You'll find these single-plane manifolds on oval tracks, in drag racing, and on NASCAR engines--anywhere that maximum horsepower and torque are needed. Eliminate fastener problems with Stage 8's complete line of locking bolt kits. They provide a simple, yet effective method to insure that your fasteners do not loosen unexpectedly. Each fastener uses a mechanical clip to lock it in place, and preventing it from backing out. The clip acts like leaving a small wrench on the bolt head, as the clip prevents the fastener from turning. Easier to use than safety wire, and cleaner than chemical thread lockers, it remains locked in place until manually disassembled. They're great for racers, and common problem areas such as header and oil pan bolts, and remain locked in place until manually disassembled.
