They include an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold that is coated with Edelbrock's EnduraShine finish, an intake gasket set, intake manifold bolts, a carburetor stud kit, and an Edelbrock Thunder AVS 800 cfm electric choke carburetor. The EnduraShine finish is a bright silver chrome finish that resists discoloration from heat and features a clearcoated top coat to enhance abrasion and chemical resistance. Tuned Port Injected (TPI) engines with Vortec heads are a reality, thanks to the Chevrolet Performance team. Their engine dynometer tests have shown a 40 hp gain with the new Vortec TPI base plate and stock Vortec heads versus the stock L98 engine. The Vortec TPI base manifold was designed from the original GM TPI intake to be a universal fit for Chevrolet/Pontiac cars (1985-92) that were equipped with factory Tuned Port Fuel Injection—and the cylinder heads have been replaced with the new style raised-port improved flowing Vortec heads from Chevrolet Performance. * Performance gains: In-house testing has proven a gain of 40 hp over a stock L98 engine. The larger runners of the TPI Vortec baseplate, combined with the excellent flow characteristics of the GM Vortec heads, produced 300 hp on an otherwise stock L98 engine. Other modifications such as camshafts, rocker arms, and injectors produced as much as 375 hp with the stock computer and throttle body. Testing was performed with a mass airflow (MAF) sensor system. * Minor modifications required: TPI Vortec baseplates are a universal design that we patterned after the original GM TPI baseplate. Because it is a universal design, you should first test fit all components that bolt directly to the intake and make any required modification prior to final installation. Some modifications may be required of the external components related to the intake and EGR systems.

They include an electronic timing control module that picks up MAP, crank position, and cam position in order to drive the stock coil-on-plug ignition system.

These Edelbrock CH-28 dual quad intake manifolds are designed for 413, 426, and 440 c.i.d. Chrysler V8s. Use them with the Performer-Plus cam for more low-end torque, or the Torker-Plus cam for more top-end power. They will not fit 1962-64 Max Wedge cylinder heads. Carb center to carb center is 6 7/16 in.

Edelbrock introduces the all-new XTS manifold for the Ford 7.3L Godzilla engine. These intake manifolds feature shorter-than-stock tapered runners tuned for high-RPM gains in engine swap applications. Finished in a highly attractive black powdercoat, the XTS is designed of lightweight, durable sheetmetal. The flanges are of billet construction for strength and consistent sealing with the heads. A horizontal throttle-body mount solves one of the most common swap fitment issues of intake air routing. All standard vacuum takeoff ports are found on the rear of the manifold, and they come complete with the mounting and vacuum takeoff hardware.
