Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds incorporate race-winning technology that's been used on Victor Series competition intakes for years. The open air space from the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. So, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler all the way to the heads, which produces a denser charge for more power. Runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 rpm higher than Performer Air-Gap manifolds, from idle to 5,500 rpm up to 1,500 to 6,500 rpm.

For maximum performance in normally aspirated competition applications, Weiand Hi-Ram Tunnel Ram intake manifolds are the manifold of choice. They're designed primarily for drag racing, truck/tractor pulls, and performance marine applications where high rpm is required but bottom-end torque isn't. With their patented D-shaped port runners and large plenum chamber, the manifolds provide optimum thrust of the air/fuel mixture to the intake ports. They mount either single or dual square-mount carbs and, depending on the application, have power bands that run from 2,500 rpm to as high as 9,000 rpm. Low-profile, single-plane Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifolds are very versatile and can be used for drag racing and Oval Track competition, as well as for street applications.
