Performance Design Carbon HR intake manifold lids offer owners of the Holley Ram intake models a lightweight. carbon fiber plenum upper. These top sections reduce weight, reduce heat soak, and add a unique engine aesthetic with the exposed weave cloth. Constructed from high-strength carbon fiber with high-temperature epoxy and bonded with high-temperature aerospace structural adhesive, each unit saves approximately 3 lbs. of mass versus the cast original lid. With a matching bolt pattern, the carbon plenum uppers will bolt to any existing Holley Hi-Ram, Mid-Ram, or Lo-Ram cast lowers. Performance Design XS intake manifolds break the mold of existing intake manifold architecture to maximize available space under the hood. When designing the optimum intake runner length and shape, the fuel rail gets in the way—so they moved it—inside the intake manifold! Those billet fuel rails feature an external quick-disconnect near the stock location. Testing proved these models, featuring injection-molded, glass-reinforced nylon construction, made horsepower and torque gains on a stock engine—with increasing gains as the engine got more aggressive with camshaft and exhaust upgrades! Performance Design Carbon pTR intake manifolds combine high-quality materials into a flexible and powerful tunnel ram architecture. PA6GF30 glass-reinforced nylon (lower) and 5-layer carbon fiber (upper) shells combine for lightweight, strong, and heat-resistant performance. Offering unique modular velocity stacks enabling 6 1/2 in. to 9 in. runners, multiple accessory port and sensor options along with other custom features, these high-performance manifolds offer easy configuring for a variety of hot rod builds, and can even be reversed on the engine. The plenums feature high-strength carbon fiber with high-temperature epoxy for improved strength-to-weight ratio and reduced heat soak to the fresh air charge. The polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the cylinder heads and hides all the ports/sensors in the valley. Performance Design Carbon TRc Intake Manifolds

It's time to choose the centerpiece of your boosted engine build. Second to only the supercharger or turbocharger, the intake manifold will be the focal point of your build illustrating the power and strength of what's underneath. Billet aluminum is the usual choice, but is there something better? Absolutely! Performance Design's Carbon TRc (Tunnel Ram compact) intake manifolds offer you a more distinct, ultra-modern, elegant, and lighter manifold at a lesser cost. An evolution of their Carbon TR naturally aspirated and Carbon TRic (intercooled) boosted intake manifolds, they are the next generation of underhood, short runner models optimized for boost, but do not rule them out of a naturally aspirated application where fitment and aesthetics are preferred over peak torque. They maintain the carbon fiber and billet aluminum construction, manufacturability within a desired price target, fitment under the stock hood, and versatility of subcomponents to be used across a wide range of applications. The modular design of the Carbon TRc intake manifolds start with a carbon fiber one-piece molded plenum. Carbon fiber braided sleeve layers with alternating weave directions are wrapped around a bladder, inserted into a billet aluminum mold, pressed against additional hand-laid carbon fiber fabric, and infused with resin. Vacuum, pressure, and heat are applied creating a plenum that is a strong pressure vessel without seams or bonding capable of handling over 50 psi of boost. Runners are CNC-machined, 6061 T-6 aluminum manufactured in two pieces to sandwich the plenum. A short velocity stack plate is installed inside the plenum and the outer runner bank bolts through the carbon fiber plenum into the velocity stack plate and is sealed with O-rings. A billet aluminum throttle body flange is bonded to the front of the carbon fiber plenum with aircraft-grade adhesive. Billet aluminum fuel rails are also available for port fuel applications or to add port fuel to direct-injected applications. Performance Design's Carbon TRc intake manifolds are available for a wide range of applications, including LT1/LT4, LS3/L92, LS7, LS1/LS2/LS6, Godzilla, Coyote, and Hemi. Performance Design's Carbon HR/pTR Hybrid intake manifolds use their Carbon HR upper combined with the nylon lower from the pTR for reduced height in constrained applications. Short velocity stacks are provided to clear the plenum which results in a total runner length of 6.5 in. These unassembled kits are offered in several cylinder head port configurations and available with a black or red flange. Select the color in the model designed for your engine. Made with premium silicone, each kit will conform to the port seal groove for that application, preventing air, fuel, and coolant leaks. Performance Design Velocity Stacks

Performance Design Carbon pTR intake manifold features modular, interchangeable velocity stacks to fine-tune the intake to your specific application, and includes long 9.0 in. runner stacks by default. However, they conveniently offer the long velocity stacks separately, along with medium 8.0 in. and short 6.5 in. runner size options. Performance Design Carbon pTR velocity stacks also fit FAST LSXHR intake manifolds. Select the stacks in the runner length wanted to tune your manifold to your specific needs.
