The amazing HydraMat fuel pickups feature Holley's patent pending design that solves the problems associated with traditional fuel pick-ups in stock fuel tanks, as well as racing fuel cells. During hard cornering, acceleration, stopping, inclines, and low fuel conditions fuel runs away from the fuel pick up which introduces air into the system resulting in poor engine performance and even stalling. The Holley HydraMat fuel pickups are the solution! Surface tension and fluid wicking are the secrets of the HydraMat, giving it the amazing ability to draw from nearly any area that has contact with fuel and then store it in its internal reservoir. As an area of the HydraMat is uncovered, the tiny pores of the media seal off through surface tension, forcing fuel to be contained in the reservoir and drawn from other areas of the mat where fuel continues to be available. The sheer size and coverage area of the HydraMat allows it to pull fuel from virtually any area in the tank or cell eliminating the need for specialty reservoirs and pick up pumps saving cost and greatly reducing complexity. Scott Drake Lemans-style gas door kits add a custom race car look to your classic Mustang. Inspired by the gas caps found on vintage Shelby Cobra race cars, these beautifully polished aluminum door kits feature a trick flip-open design that functions just like the originals used in 1960s racing for quick refuel "pit stops." They're designed for simple bolt-on installation, with the outside diameter of the base smaller than other similar gas doors at 5.25 in. to fit on the 1964-66 Mustang tail lamp panels. The unique design allows installation in four different mounting positions using the factory holes—and retains use of the factory fuel filler neck for easy installation. Holley aluminum fuel cells come in a several variations for nearly every race application, and they also offer mounting straps to keep them secure. Holley fuel cell mounting straps are available for 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-gallon fuel cells. They are constructed from 1/8 in. thick mild steel and finished with a black e-coat finish to prevent corrosion. Holley includes EPDM rubber strip isolators for added protection and mounting hardware to complete the installation. Choose the straps to fit your fuel cell.
