The VRS-4150 carburetors are street friendly but race ready—and the one-piece, cast aluminum bodies fit all 4150 and 4500 carb flange manifolds—without requiring an adapter plate. Wilson Manifolds tapered carburetor spacers feature a computer-generated, variable-radius taper design that maximizes airflow through the carburetor and enhances air/fuel distribution for more horsepower. Part throttle performance and distribution are improved by redirecting the flow pattern created by the partially open throttle blades and gradually reducing the velocity of the air/fuel mixture entering the plenum. By popular demand, Holley is expanding the draw-thru supercharger carburetor line to now include the 4150 XP Series. Like the existing HP line, these carbs are available in 600, 750, and 950 cfm flow rates—and standard polished with black accents. The feature-laden XPs include a contoured venturi inlet for balanced airflow, screw-in air bleeds for precision-tuning capabilities, high-flow billet metering blocks, billet base plate, and Dominator-style fuel bowls which allow plumbing from either side. Supercharger XP carburetors also have a unique capability that allows their power valves to reference the intake manifold vacuum below the supercharger. This enables the power valve to operate as it should, based off intake manifold vacuum. A power valve provides further enrichment to the main metering system under load (low vacuum) conditions. Holley Gen 3 Ultra Dominator carburetors feature a brand new main body, brand new state-of-the-art calibrations, high-volume HP fuel bowls, and sizes up to 1,475 cfm! The metering blocks are fully adjustable (emulsion bleeds, power valve channel restrictors, and idle feed restrictors). These carburetors include redesigned Holley HP fuel bowls for racing. Internal baffling helps to control fuel slosh and minimize float level fluctuations in hard launching or cornering situations. The HP fuel bowls also have material added in key areas (the needle and seat, fuel inlet, and sight window areas) for added strength in demanding race environments and can be plumbed from either side.
