DC Sports cold air intake systems provide the best of both worlds: intake air heat reduction and improved breathability. Every kit includes an air filter that requires no oil, so there is no chance of oil getting into the intake track from excess oiling. Designed for maximum power gains, they increase horsepower and torque while improving throttle response. Features and benefits of DC Sports cold air intake systems include: * Washable and reusable air filter--no oil necessary * Filtration as small as one micron (0.00039 in.) * Aluminum alloy filter construction; practically immune to corrosion * Built-in velocity stack on most filters to increase air flow rates * Built-in funnel top directs air flow into the velocity stack * Stainless steel mesh for strength and filter longevity * Corrosion-resistant, aluminum alloy intake tube * Cuts OE intake system weight by up to half * Keeps the design intent of OE, but makes it more efficient. * Re-locates filter outside the engine compartment for cooler air * Lower intake air temperatures * Tuned inlet pipe for optimum performance gains * Most kits are bolt-on, direct-fit; minor modifications may be needed on certain kits * Comes in a multi-piece kit for ease of installation (where necessary)
